Florida Occupational Healthcare (FOHC) was developed to provide Physical Therapy to the South Florida area with an emphasis on treating and rehabilitating orthopaedic and sports injuries.
Our staff therapists are fully licensed and certified in the State of Florida, Board Certified through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and posses Post Graduate Doctorate Degrees and Manual Therapy Certificates.
FOHC was created in 1998 and to date has been providing outpatient orthopaedic and sports physical therapy services. The response has been a very positive one with over 15,000 patients receiving quality personalized physical therapy hands-on care.
FOHC takes pride in being a clinical education center. The owner-director, Alex Pereda, DPT, MTC, is a clinical professor for the following institutions: Florida International University (FIU), Nova Southeastern University, and Miami-Dade College Medical Campus.
